Emily's practice is devoted to defending individuals in criminal cases in the state of Colorado. Emily's approach is client-centered and built around supporting clients during one of the most difficult and daunting periods in their lives. From successfully litigating constitutional motions to securing excellent results through negotiation, investigation, and mitigation, Emily fights relentlessly to obtain favorable outcomes for clients at the trial and pre-trial stages of criminal prosecution. Emily began her legal career in criminal defense as a Colorado State Public Defender. She has extensive experience and has zealously defended clients who were facing criminal charges ranging from traffic and misdemeanor offenses to sex assaults and homicides. During her time as a public defender and after, Emily has handled hundreds of cases and tried dozens of cases to juries, obtaining favorable outcomes for her clients.
