About Eric

Attorney Eric J. Purchase represents individuals and families suffering from injury or the death of a loved one. He was born and raised in Erie County, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Gannon University in 1988 and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1991, graduating with honors. He served as editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Before founding his own practice in 2006, he was a trial lawyer with one of Erie’s largest law firms, representing insurance companies and employers. He now focuses on representing individuals and families in cases against insurance companies and corporations, including auto accident, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and personal injury cases. He also handles commercial litigation. Mr. Purchase has lectured on various legal topics and serves at high levels in Pennsylvania trial lawyer associations.
