About Erik
Erik is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on professional liability disputes (all disciplines), design and construction defect cases, and commercial litigation. Erik has also successfully defended and prosecuted numerous personal injury claims. As part of his practice, Erik has represented clients in arbitrations before both the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and the International Chamber of Commerce International Court of Arbitration (ICC ICA). Erik also handles civil appeals in both the Texas Courts of Appeal and the Texas Supreme Court. Erik’s commercial docket includes probate (transaction and litigation), small business transactional matters, and providing general counsel services to many of his clients. Such services include the preparation of asset purchase agreements, employment contracts, non-compete agreements, and investigating and handling pre-suite legal disputes. Erik is also an adjunct professor of Trial Advocacy and mock trial coach at the University of Houston School of Law. Erik is originally from Colorado where he lived before moving to Texas where he obtained his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and his law degree from Baylor University School of Law.
