About Fernando
I grew up in Chicago and for as long as anyone could remember I said that I was going to be a lawyer. My older sister tempted me to follow her path in medicine before I was scared away because of the required chemistry. In college I was lured astray by economics for a time before my loathing of math could not be suppressed. It was a Sociology of Law class in college that sealed my fate. The professor started the class by saying that if we were here because we wanted to be future lawyers then she was sorry because this class wouldn’t help. She then told us about how she hated being a lawyer. Yet with every word I just wanted to learn more and became more sure that the law was for me. My passion for criminal law was accidental in law school but once started I could not stop as nothing seemed more interesting or important. While I might be closer to Green Bay than a Chicago native might like, I cannot wait to help as many people in the community as I can.
