
About Gaétan
Gaétan is from northern New Brunswick but completed two programs at the Université de Moncton, a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (Economics-1994) and a LLB (1998). He was admitted to the New Brunswick Bar in 1999. He practiced in the Constitutional Law Section of the Legal Services Branch of the Office of the Attorney General of New Brunswick, where he advised the provincial government on policies, legislation and regulation, as well as doing litigation work. He has experience before all kinds of tribunals, including numerous matters at the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the New Brunswick Court of Appeal. He has produced numerous papers on various topics, many published in arbitrated journals like the Canadian Bar Review, the McGill Law Journal, the Ottawa Law Review and Acadiensis. His researches span over a wide array of interests. He is fluent in French and English.
