About Gale

Gale Luquette graduated from E. Broussard High School in 1989, received his Bachelor’s Degree from Louisiana State University in 1993, and graduated from LSU Law School in 1996. He completed a three-year clerkship with former Judge Durwood Conque. In 1999, he became the first Hearing Officer for the Family Court division of the 15th Judicial District Court for Vermilion and Acadia parishes, presiding over more than 10,000 domestic matters. In 2008, he was appointed Family Court commissioner for State child support cases. He retired from the Family Court in 2018 after over 19 years and joined the firm. He has served on the Bar Associations for Vermilion, Lafayette, and Acadia parishes, on the executive Board of the Louisiana Cattle Festival and Fair since 1999, as legal counsel for the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals since 2003, and as Chairman of the Abbeville Film and Visitors Commission since 2008.
