Admitted to practice law in 1996, Gary Nolan graduated in the top 5% of his class from New England Law|Boston and served on the New England Law Review. He was captain of the University of Massachusetts|Lowell wrestling team in 1991. Trained as a litigator and trial lawyer, he has acted as lead counsel in numerous criminal and civil cases, conducting jury trials in Massachusetts and New Hampshire courts. He also handles administrative cases before arbitrators, the Massachusetts and National Labor Relations Boards, and the Massachusetts Civil Service Commission. Since 2001, Attorney Nolan's practice has focused on Union-side labor law, serving as Chief Counsel to over 60 local law enforcement unions in New England. He represents thousands of police and corrections officials in all phases of labor relations, including collective bargaining, discipline hearings, arbitrations, civil service matters, and critical incidents. He also represents non-law enforcement public employees and private employee Unions, providing full-service representation. Additionally, Gary represents individuals in non-union employment matters such as promotional bypass cases, disciplinary appeals, disability retirement, and discrimination litigation. His practice also includes personal injury law, having prosecuted claims for over twenty-five years and recovering millions of dollars for clients.
