About Gary

Gary has been practicing law in Maine in excess of forty years, where he has advocated tirelessly on behalf of the injured worker. Gary is a longtime champion and supporter of local unions and the rights of workers and has vast experience navigating the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. Throughout his career Gary has been known for his personalized approach and his highly skilled and aggressive representation for his clients. We are delighted that Gary has combined his successful practice with our firm where he will provide invaluable counsel and insight with the continued goal of providing our clients with exceptional results. Gary is a graduate of Bates College and the University of Maine School of Law. He is a published author and has been a featured speaker on Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act issues. He has served as the Senior Staff Attorney for the Maine Workers’ Compensation Board (Advocate Division) and has been a specially appointed judge under that law. Gary enjoys spending his free time outdoors, where he likes to hunt and fish and paddle his canoe, frequently while smoking a fine cigar. He is also an avid fan of New England sports, cheering on his beloved Bruins, Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics.
