Geniel comes to Harward & Hawesas an estate planning and business attorney. For over 22years, she has helped hundreds of clients complete their estates and assist in probate and trust administration as well as assist in various business, tax, and real estate matters. Geniel is known for her service, attention to detail, and down-to-earth manner. Her clients appreciate her easy-to-understand approach and personal attention. Geniel also works in the fulfilling world of family law. After years of helping families through the mournful and heart-wrenching process of settling an estate after losing a loved one or navigating the nuances of designing estate plans representing a lifetime of hard work, in 2022, Geniel decided to put those skills to use guiding families, parents, and couples traverse a different, and also very difficult, phase of life. Geniel is admitted to practice in both Washington and Utah. In 2002, she opened her solo practice in Washington State. After moving back to Utah, she was admitted to the Utah bar in 2008 and continues to maintain her dual-state practice. She received her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2001 and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, in 1998.
