About Georgina

Georgina Melbye is an experienced personal injury, family law, and criminal defense attorney known for her passion for problem-solving and tireless pursuit of justice. She has extensive experience in family law, including divorce, child custody, and business valuations, and has handled over 300 DUI and DWAI cases and other complex criminal matters. Her personal injury experience covers motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death claims, and ski accidents. Georgina is certified and trained in collaborative law and offers unbundled legal services. She is an active member of her local community, serving as secretary on the board of Aspen Strong and on the Young Lawyers Division board. She previously served on the Pitkin County Bar Association board and worked at the Colorado Innocence Project. Georgina grew up on a farm outside of Boulder, riding horses competitively through college at Cornell University, where she was captain of the varsity equestrian team.
