About Ginny
Ginny G. Powell is the youngest daughter of Gillis E. Powell, Jr., and the granddaughter of Gillis E. Powell, Sr. She was raised in Crestview and graduated from Crestview High School with Honors in 1997. A graduate of Florida State University, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Cum Laude, in 2001, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Florida State University College of Law in 2005. Throughout her time at FSU, she studied abroad both in Europe and at New York University in New York City. After graduating from law school, Ginny spent four years working as a Health Care Attorney and Senior Policy Analyst for the Georgia State Senate in Atlanta, Georgia. During this time she obtained Health Policy certification from Georgia State University. In 2009, she returned to Crestview, Florida, to join the firm and practice law with her family. Ginny exclusively handles automobile accidents and injury cases. She maintains close personal contact with all of her clients, and her background in Health Policy gives her unique perspective when handling injury claims and negotiating with insurance companies. She is devoted to her clients and provides them with extensive personal attention and compassion. Ginny is a member of the Florida Bar, the Okaloosa Bar Association, the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.
