About Glenda
Glenda Best is a partner with Roebothan McKay Marshall, with over 30 years’ legal experience. With advanced certification in mediation, Glenda has developed a practice focused in Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, and Family Law. Glenda is a Master of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, Queen’s Counsel, and also an active local volunteer. As Board Member and Honorary Solicitor for the Newfoundland and Labrador chapter of Spinal Cord Injury Canada, Glenda puts her personal experience and passion for protecting accident victims to great use. She is also a Director and Honorary Solicitor for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. In June 2021, Glenda received the Gordon M. Stirling Distinguished Service Award from the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador. The award recognizes substantial contribution to the Law Society, the legal profession, or the administration of justice, and to the public or one’s community. In her spare time, Glenda enjoys cooking, attending theatre productions, and outdoor activities including mountain biking, hiking, and scuba diving.
