About Hannah

After graduating from Croatan High School in Ocean, North Carolina, Hannah attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she double majored in Political Science and Public Policy and minored in History. She graduated with honors in May 2020 and began working as a real estate legal assistant at Becker Law Offices in Raleigh, North Carolina. After a year in that role, Hannah decided to pursue law school and, in the fall of 2021, enrolled at North Carolina Central University School of Law on a full-tuition scholarship. At NCCU, Hannah gained diverse legal experience. She worked as a commercial real estate paralegal at Ragsdale Liggett in Raleigh, North Carolina, and as a research assistant at Burris, Nisenbaum, Curry, & Lacy in Oakland, California. She also interned in the chambers of The Honorable Judge Jeffrey Carpenter at the North Carolina Court of Appeals and at the Orange County Public Defender’s Office. Additionally, Hannah participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic and the Expungement Clinic. Hannah graduated summa cum laude and served as the Valedictorian of her class in May 2024. She was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in September 2024. After exploring criminal defense, Hannah decided to return to her roots in real estate law. In January 2025, she began a new role as a Title Attorney at Bagwell Holt Smith. In her free time, Hannah enjoys cooking, watching Tar Heel basketball, spending time with her niece and nephews, and walking her two Chihuahuas, Ali and Gator.
