About Hannah

Hannah Mayeaux is a trial attorney for The Townsley Law Firm. Born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Hannah always knew she wanted to be a lawyer. Her dad, Buba, was a Sheriff’s Deputy for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, and her mom, Tracy, is a nurse. She was raised watching her parents help people, so decided from a young age that she wanted to do the same. After graduating from St. Louis Catholic High School, Hannah went to Louisiana State University to pursue an undergraduate degree in English and political science. At LSU, she played intramural soccer and served as intramural chair for Phi Mu sorority. Hannah went to law school at LSU, and in 2020, graduated with multiple honors including: Order of the Coif and Magna Cum Laude. During law school, she was a senior editor for the Louisiana Law Review and taught Street Law to local schools through the Public Interest Law Society. When she clerked for The Townsley Law Firm after her second year of law school, Hannah realized that TLF was where she needed to be. She fell in love with the firm’s values and what they stood for. The Townsley Law Firm makes her stronger, more confident, and more compassionate, which inspires her to continue working. It is easier to overcome everyday challenges because she can rely on her team to support her and have her back. Hannah is heavily involved in the community serving as a big sister for Big Brothers, Big Sisters and serving on the executive boards for the Women’s Law Section and Young Lawyers, where she helps put together charity events. She is also a board member for the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association. Outside of the office, Hannah enjoys hunting and fishing. She grew up going to Toledo Bend with her family. She also plays pickleball and runs to stay active. Hannah values both physical and mental health, so she turns to her hobbies to ground her. Hannah has three siblings: an older brother, Mason, and two younger sisters, Mia and Marlie. She and her fiancé, Logan, also have a dog, Cooper. Hannah strives to be an advocate for her clients. She thinks out of the box and gets creative to develop, evolve, and adapt her practice. Her definition of success in the field is doing right by her clients and making changes where changes need to be made. She aspires to right wrongs by fighting against the systems that lead to her clients’ injuries and damages, and at the Townsley Law Firm, she is supported to achieve those goals. Successfully handling hundreds of cases through settlement and mediation, Hannah is confident in her skills as an attorney. She has won jury trials in both state and federal courts, and will do her best to win for you.
