About Holly

Holly Ortiz was born and raised in a small town outside of Dallas, Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin and Mary Baldwin College. She received both her master’s degree in government and her law degree from Regent University in Virginia Beach in 2014. During law school, Holly interned at the Office of the Chief Staff Attorney for the Supreme Court of Virginia and at the federal public defender’s offices in both Richmond and Norfolk. After being admitted to the Virginia bar, Holly worked at Central Virginia Legal Aid Society working on healthcare policy and pro bono matters for indigent clients in the Richmond area. Before joining Christina Pendleton & Associates, she worked in Norfolk as an assistant public defender, providing criminal representation on a wide variety of felony, misdemeanor and juvenile cases. As a personal injury attorney, she utilizes her trial and negotiation experience to help her clients get the full compensation that they deserve.
