About Hon.

Judge Carl E. Chamblee has been practicing law for over 40 years. He has been a Municipal Judge for the City of Trussville since October of 1984 and for the City of Argo for more than 30 years. He is the Past President of the Alabama Municipal Judge’s Association. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and a Minor in Finance. He continued his education at the Birmingham School of Law and graduated in 1980 with a J.D. Judge Chamblee has lectured for the Alabama Magistrates and Court Clerks, the Alabama Municipal Judges Association, and Law Enforcement Training Seminars. Judge Chamblee has substantial trial experience in criminal defense, including 12 capital murder cases plus numerous felony cases, civil litigation (both plaintiff and defendants), wrongful death, probating of estates, and real estate litigation. His areas of practice include Estate Planning (Wills and Trusts), Civil Litigation, Probating of Estates, Residential and Commercial Real Estate Closings, Wrongful Death, Corporate Representation, Transactional Law, Criminal and Municipal Court Representation, Real Estate Litigation, Real Estate Tax Litigation, and Corporate Counsel.
