About J.
J. Don Gordon, a native Texan, has dedicated his career to resolving civil disputes through alternative dispute resolution and litigation. With 47 years of practice, he is a Board Certified Civil Trial Law specialist recognized by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He was honored as a national finalist for Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice in 2003. Mr. Gordon graduated with high honors from East Texas State University in 1974 and obtained his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 1977. He holds an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated designation by Martindale-Hubbell®, a distinction awarded to attorneys recognized by their peers for exceptional legal skill and integrity. Since 1995, he has been a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas. In 1991, Mr. Gordon co-founded Hynds & Gordon, P.C.
