About Jacob
Jacob has tried cases to verdict in both the state and federal courts, representing clients in pharmaceutical, medical device, medical malpractice, trucking and car accident, and general personal injury lawsuits. As a former human resources manager, Jacob understands the importance of proper employee training and coaching, and takes an active role in developing and implementing standard operating procedures for the firm’s employees. At Flint Cooper, Jacob has managed the litigation and resolution of pelvic mesh (transvaginal mesh) cases filed in the Southern District of West Virginia multi-district litigations. Currently, Jacob represents clients injured by abdominal hernia mesh, products made of non-absorbable polypropylene that can cause serious side effects, including adhesions, abdominal abscesses, intestinal fistulas, mesh migration, obstructions, pain, swelling and additional surgeries.
