About James
“The law can impact all aspects of our lives. Litigation can be a difficult experience for anyone. My goal is to make the litigation process manageable and understandable while achieving the best outcome for my clients through hard work and determined advocacy.” During law school, James had a variety of professional experiences, including criminal defense and appeals, immigration and asylum claims, white-collar defense, corporate legal matters, and HOA and property disputes. James was also an editor and published contributor of Jurimetrics: the Journal of Law, Science, and Technology; was a member of the Homeless Law Assistance Project; achieved favorable outcomes for clients through the Post-Conviction Relief Clinic at ASU; and received a distinguished pro bono award at the end of his law school career. James also worked as a law clerk at the Federal Public Defender’s Capital Habeas Unit in Phoenix. Together, these experiences enable him to effectively represent a broad range of clients in a variety of practice areas. In his time away from the office, James enjoys traveling with his partner and cooking delicious meals for her. He loves learning about history, politics, and the world around us.
