About JAMES

Jamie joined the firm in 2019. Jamie was born and bred in Tarheel country. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology from UNC and then obtained his juris doctorate from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Jamie spent eleven years in private practice in Chapel Hill before being appointed to the office of the Orange County Clerk of Superior Court. He held that office for 17 years. During his tenure as Clerk, Jamie developed an invaluable depth of knowledge and experience in the practical application of the law to everyday situations, especially in the area of civil procedure, decedent’s estate administration, trusts, and guardianship. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association. Jamie now utilizes his knowledge at the firm to assist his clients.
