About James

James is a lifetime resident of South Jersey with over 29 years of legal experience. He graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Marketing in 1990 and received his Juris Doctorate from Widener University in 1993. Following graduation, Jim served as Law Clerk for the Honorable Rudolph J. Rossetti, Assignment Judge, Superior Court of New Jersey, Camden County. Mr. Nowak is licensed to practice law and appear in State and Federal Courts in New Jersey as well as Pennsylvania. From 1994 through 2018, James operated his own law practice in Cherry Hill concentrating his efforts on commercial and residential real estate, workers’ compensation, personal injury, municipal court, and estate planning to serve the needs of his valued clients. To that end, Mr. Nowak has been able to keep his practice varied yet efficient and has proven able to provide the individualized service his clients deserve. In September of 2018, Jim merged his practice with Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen wherein he continues practicing law in the same fashion and manner on full time basis proving to be invaluable member to the Firm and our many satisfied clients.
