About James
James Edgar has been a part of the community in St. Johns and Putnam counties for the last 20 years. He served his community as a Deputy Sheriff in Putnam County for 16 years while obtaining his B.S. Degree in Public Administration from Flagler College. After graduating from Flagler College cum laude, and serving Putnam County for another 6 years, Mr. Edgar left public service and attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He graduated from UF in the top 10% of his class and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. After becoming an attorney, Mr. Edgar worked at a mid-sized litigation firm in Jacksonville defending hospitals and nurses from Medical Malpractice claims. Mr. Edgar also worked on complex civil litigation cases, helping his clients resolve claims ranging in value from $50,000 to over $1 million. Mr. Edgar now spends his professional time assisting clients in St. Johns, Duval, and Putnam counties with personal injury claims, medical malpractice claims, civil disputes, breach of contract claims, property disputes, and construction defect claims.
