James J. Robertson’s practice is concentrated in litigation with emphasis in family law. Jim also has extensive experience in labor and workers’ compensation matters. Jim’s practice further extends to representation of clients in guardianship proceedings, adoptions and step-parent adoptions. In addition, he works with clients who are injured on the job before the Workers’ Compensation Commission or who are injured due to the negligence of an individual or entity. Jim has two reported appellate decisions: Ball-Incon Glass Packaging v Taber, 888 P.2d 2, (10th Cir. 1999) sustained, 1994 OK CIV APP 132 and Melcher v. C&C Industries, 974 P.2d 70 (10th Cir. 1999), sustained in part, vacated in part and remanded, 1999 OK CIV APP 13. He also has two reported Oklahoma Supreme Court decisions: Canida v. Technotherm Corp., 16 P.3d 1127 (10th Cir. 2000), cert. granted, 2000 OK 83 (2001) and Dixon Property Co. v. Shaw, 2 P.3d 330 (10th Cir. 1999), opinion vacated and remanded, 1999 OK 96 (2000).
