About James

James J. Leech is an experienced litigator and is licensed to practice in Texas, and in the Northern, Southern, Western United States District Courts. Mr. Leech brings his extensive trial expertise to Cesar Ornelas Injury Law where he serves as an attorney manager. Within two years of graduating from law school, Mr. Leech had already served as lead trial counsel in civil jury trials in Nueces, Travis, and Cameron counties. Based on his trial performance, Mr. Leech was offered a position at a well-established South Texas litigation firm. Mr. Leech continued his practice by conducting investigations into catastrophic accidents and honed his skills representing companies and individuals in personal injury, wrongful death, probate, and commercial litigation cases. Mr. Leech was eventually promoted to partner and tried numerous cases on behalf of the City of San Antonio. During this time Mr. Leech was the lead counsel in cases now cited for legal precedent and motion practice successes that were noted in national legal publications. Mr. Leech then joined another prestigious South Texas law firm, where he conducted over a hundred depositions and mediations since the start of the COVID pandemic. Mr. Leech’s experience representing some of the largest companies in the country provides him with unique insight into the tactics they use to keep the injured from receiving the compensation, justice, and dignity that they deserve.
