About James
Jimmy Marco joined Zamler, Shiffman, & Karfis PC in August of 2018 after eight years of private practice in Chicago, Illinois. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona in 2001, Jimmy attended law school at Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, graduating in 2007. In Chicago, Jimmy concentrated his practice in representing banking institutions and commercial litigation before moving to the metro Detroit area in 2017. In August of 2018, Jimmy began working for Zamler, Shiffman & Karfis, P.C. Since joining the firm, Jimmy has handled hundreds of cases involving automobile negligence, breach of contract claims, no-fault claims, uninsured motorist claims, dog bite claims, premises liability claims, construction accidents, wrongful death claims, trucking and motorcycle accidents, and claims involving governmental entities. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys playing basketball, building Lego sets with his children, and rooting for the Chicago Bears.
