About Jay
James (Jay) Sadd is a lawyer and partner at Slappey & Sadd, LLC, co-founding the firm in 1992. He represents families, workers, and consumers in personal injury and wrongful death cases, including car accidents, trucking accidents, defective products, and medical malpractice. He practices in all Georgia courts, Federal Bar, and is licensed in West Virginia. Jay has secured numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for his clients. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Mercer University (1987) and is a member of several bar associations. He has received multiple awards and recognitions, including the Georgia Law-Related Education Consortium Award, Certificate of Commendation from The West Virginia State Bar, Million Dollar Advocates Forum, "Best of the Best" of Georgia’s Super Lawyers, Georgia’s “Legal Elite” by Georgia Trend Magazine, and an AV rating by Martindale-Hubble. He served as President of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (2012-2013) and was lead counsel for victims of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Park bombing.
