About Jayla

Jayla Bentley joined the Mezrano Alabama Injury Lawyers as a Litigation Paralegal in May 2023, then as an Attorney in September 2025. Jayla attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, earning her degree in History with a double-minor in Criminal Justice and Psychology in 2020. She then earned her Juris Doctorate at Birmingham School of Law in 2024. Jayla is passionate about helping others. Driven by a belief that everyone deserves access to fair and compassionate legal representation, she entered the legal field not just to practice law, but to make a meaningful difference. Jayla’s passion for helping others stems from a lifelong dedication to justice, a strong moral compass, and a desire to level the playing field for those facing legal obstacles. During her free time, you will find Jayla singing in a band with her husband, spending time with her family, or browsing her local library.
