About Jeffrey
Jeffrey Meldon has been a Florida Trial Attorney since 1971, handling jury trials in Gainesville and specializing in accident and wrongful death cases. He is known for his expertise in negotiating settlements and litigating against insurance companies. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he graduated from Case-Western Reserve University Law School in 1969 and opened his practice in Gainesville in 1971. He is dedicated to community service, authoring three Consumer Guide Books based on his 50 years of legal experience. He regularly attends and lectures at legal seminars, teaching and mentoring other attorneys. Highlights of his career include membership in the National Trial Attorneys Top 100 Trial Attorneys (2013) and The Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, serving on Florida Bar committees, and teaching at the University of Florida Law School Trial Advocacy Program. He is recognized for creating the DUI defense team at his firm.
