About Jeri

Jeri Bitterman Karpen is a founding member of Bitterman Karpen Law Group, LLC. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University. She clerked for the Honorable Joseph A. Scancarella, Superior Court of New Jersey. With over three decades of experience, Jeri has practiced Commercial Litigation, Real Estate, Personal Injury Litigation, and Estate Administration. She previously headed the Real Estate practice at Leonard M. Bitterman & Associates, L.L.C. Jeri serves on the Board of Trustees for the Foundation for Diabetes Research and Temple B’nai Abraham, and is a former member of the Fee Arbitration Panel of the Ethics Committee for the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Township of Livingston Planning Board.
