About Joel

Joel A. Kobert is recognized as one of the most esteemed lawyers in New Jersey, named a Super Lawyer in Land Use/Zoning by New Jersey Super Lawyer. His other principal area of practice involves commercial and residential real estate development. He has a long history of service to the New Jersey State Bar Association, having been its President and President of the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Lawyer. He served in the Vietnam War as a Captain in the United States Army, awarded the Bronze Star. He worked in the administration for two Governors of New Jersey and was appointed to numerous Supreme Court committees. Mr. Kobert is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, a member of Who's Who in American Law, a Trustee for Blair Academy, and the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Norwich University.
