About Joel
Joel D. Kershaw has been practicing law since 2007 and is a lifelong resident of Southeastern Michigan. He graduated from Wayne Memorial High School, Western Michigan University, and Ave Maria School of Law, where he served as an editor for the Law Review. He is an active member and former President of the Carleton Rotary Club, and a member of the Board of Directors of Embrace Monroe. He is a proud advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Monroe County Bar Association, and the Monroe County Criminal Defense Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in Michigan state courts, the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the Federal Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.
