About John

John Curry is a dedicated personal injury attorney with over 11 years of experience helping injury victims and their families seek justice. Born and raised in Orlando, John graduated cum laude (top 10% of his class) from UCF (Go Knights!) with a double major in Accounting and Finance. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida - Levin College of Law (Go Gators!), the top-ranked law school in the state, where he also graduated cum laude for placing in the top of his class. While at UF Law, John distinguished himself as a leader and advocate. He was elected to the executive board of the prestigious Moot Court Team, was a member of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy and was selected as a teaching assistant-demonstrating both academic excellence and a talent for litigation from an early stage. John began working in personal injury law even before graduating law school, quickly establishing himself as a passionate and tireless advocate for those harmed by the wrongdoing of others. He put himself through school, working at two different firms where he helped as a law clerk on personal injury cases. He has worked at Christopher Ligori & Associates for nearly 9 years, where he focuses on cases involving auto accidents, trucking crashes, premises liability falls, negligent security cases, and wrongful death cases. John has successfully handled numerous high-stakes cases from start to finish, including those resolving for over $1,000,000. His work reflects a deep commitment to fighting for the injured, holding wrongdoers accountable, and making sure clients are treated with the respect and attention they deserve. John understands that behind every case is a person whose life has been turned upside down-and he takes that responsibility seriously. Outside of the courtroom, John remains active in the legal community and is a proud supporter of the Florida Justice Association’s mission to protect access to civil justice. In his personal time, he enjoys attending UCF football games, Tampa Bay Lightning games, and remains a loyal (and long-suffering) Miami Dolphins fan. He also likes to grill, play racquetball, and chess. Last, but not least, he is also the proud dog dad to Csonka, a golden retriever named after the legendary Dolphins fullback.
