John Castro

About John

John Castro was born in Memphis, TN, and moved to Tampa, FL in 1991. He received a B.S. in Psychology from Florida State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida College of Law in 2004. He began his legal career defending civil liability and personal injury cases, later serving as an assistant state attorney. He opened his own firm in 2010 and joined Ligori & Ligori in 2019, becoming an equity partner in 2023. He is a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent-rated attorney with 20 years of legal experience.
