John H. Rion is board certified in the field of criminal law and he has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America® since 1983. He is the former president of the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, has served for two terms as Chairman of the Criminal Justice Committee of the Ohio State Bar Association, and has tried more than 300 felony jury trials, including capital cases. He is admitted to the Ohio State Bar, US District Court for Southern District of Ohio, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
