About John
John J. Tress has been a practicing trial lawyer since 1999. He began his legal career as an assistant state attorney with the Eleventh Judicial Circuit for Miami-Dade County, where he tried numerous cases as the lead prosecutor and advanced to the Sexual Battery and Aggravated Child Abuse Unit. Thereafter, Mr. Tress was a shareholder with a well-respected litigation firm in Central Florida. For nearly 17 years, he represented physicians, hospitals and urgent care clinics throughout Florida in medical malpractice and licensure matters. Since joining Bounds Law Group, Mr. Tress has devoted his practice to representing injured patients and their family members in cases involving medical malpractice, wrongful death and catastrophic injury.
