John L. Evans

About John

Originally from New Jersey, John has resided in Florida for over 30 years. He began his career in nursing, earning a BSN from Excelsior College in 1994. As a nurse, he practiced in many areas, including patient care and medical case management. It was his efforts helping injured people navigate the complexities of the workers’ compensation system that led him to pursue a career in law. While still working full time as a nurse, John earned his JD from Stetson University College of Law in 2006. His legal career has been dedicated exclusively to the areas of workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability Insurance, where he draws on his nursing experience to be an advocate for those in need. In his spare time, John enjoys gardening, playing the piano and spending time with his two dogs.
