About John
John began his legal career in 1985 as a Staff Attorney for the Supreme Court of South Carolina. He has taught higher education courses in Constitutional, Criminal Law, and is currently an adjunct professor for Lander University. He has been representing clients in a private practice for 30 years. He is licensed to practice and tried cases in all South Carolina trial and appellate courts including Circuit Court, the South Carolina Court of Appeals, and South Carolina Supreme Court. He is also licensed to practice and tried cases in Federal District Court and admitted to practice in the 4th Circuit Court. He is a member of the S.C. Bar Association, Federal Bar Association and a member of the Injured Workers’ Advocates. He is also board certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He was elected to the SC House of Representatives in 2016.
