About Jonathan
Jonathan Testa is a Partner at Dorsey & Semrau, promoted effective June 23, 2025. He joined the firm in 2018 and was admitted to the Bar in 2009. He is a tenacious litigator on municipal issues, recognized as an expert in affordable housing. He has extensive litigation experience in State and Federal courts, including the New Jersey Supreme Court and Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and provides day-to-day legal guidance to municipal clients. He is a 2009 graduate of Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he received the 2008 Coleman Class Fitzgerald Distinguished Student Award. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as the Federal District Court of the District of New Jersey and Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He has significant litigation experience in matters involving the New Jersey Tort Claims Act, the New Jersey Civil Rights Act, the New Jersey Fair Housing Act and Municipal Land Use Law.
