
About Jordan
Jordan was born in Noel, MO. He graduated from Neosho High School (2005). Jordan attended the University of Missouri for undergraduate study (2010), where he earned his degrees in history and political science summa cum laude (cumulative GPA of 3.9-4.0). He was elected student body president of the University of Missouri in his senior year. Jordan also spent two summers serving as an intern on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. He continued his education at Mizzou, graduating from the School of Law (2013), where he earned Dean’s List honors for four consecutive semesters. Jordan practices as an attorney in Newton, McDonald, and Jasper counties. He focuses his practice on civil litigation. Jordan devotes roughly half of his practice to representing the City of Joplin in civil matters. He advises the Joplin City Council and Joplin Redevelopment Corporation, as well as boards and commissions such as the Building Board of Appeals. Jordan is responsible for in-house litigation in federal and state court, including specialized actions such as §1983 claims, condemnation proceedings, and judicial reviews pursuant to Chapter 536, RSMo. He has negotiated, drafted, and reviewed agreements with sophisticated parties such as national corporations and government at the federal, state, and local levels. Jordan is active in several civic groups and community organizations, including the Neosho Rotary Club, Talkington Foundation and Tri-State Family YMCA. He is a member of the Neosho United Methodist Church. Jordan is a fan of the Missouri Tigers.
