About Jose

Jose Orihuela is a personal injury attorney and a Houston, Texas native, serving the greater Houston community in both English and Spanish. He graduated from Northern Illinois University College of Law, where he was a student leader and successful in academic competitions. His legal career began as a law clerk in Rockford, Illinois, focusing on employment discrimination, disability law, personal injury, sexual discrimination, and criminal defense. He practiced in state and federal courts and the Ogle County State’s Attorney’s Office. Upon returning to Houston, he worked with Rene Gonzalez & Associates, PLLC, specializing in traffic law for the Latino community. He then joined The Pinkerton Law Firm as a plaintiff’s personal injury lawyer, handling cases such as the 2008 Big Spring Refinery Explosion, medical malpractice, 18-wheeler and car wrecks, wrongful death, premises liability, slip and falls, and drunk driving cases. He rose to Senior Associate, recognized for resolving cases quickly and maximizing client claims. In 2013, he established Jose Orihuela, Attorney at Law, focusing on personal injury and providing open, honest, and personal service to clients.
