About Joseph

Joseph C. Butner III, also known as Joe Butner, started practicing law in 1978. He began his career as a civil and criminal trial lawyer in Phoenix, Arizona, and later opened his own office in Scottsdale. He served as a prosecutor for the Yavapai County Attorney’s Office, Justice of the Peace for the Verde Valley Justice Court, Cottonwood City Magistrate, and Chief Judge for the Yavapai-Apache Tribal Court. He was also appointed as a Pro Tem Judge of the Yavapai County Superior Court. He currently practices law with Musgrove Drutz Butner and Gautreaux, PC, and serves as President of the Prescott Frontier Days Foundation, Inc.
