About Julie
Julie Eldridge graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2005 and is a 2008 graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center (“LSU”). After law school, she clerked for Judge Marc Amy at the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeal. Finding a home in appellate law, she then spent fifteen years as a law clerk/senior research attorney at the Louisiana Supreme Court. She clerked for ten years for Justice Marcus Clark and five years for Justice Will Crain. Her lengthy time as a judicial clerk exposed her to nearly every practice area, legal topic, and procedural issue. In reviewing thousands of writ applications, drafting opinions, and making recommendations to the court, Julie honed her research and writing skills and developed a keen understanding of the life of a case: from discovery through final judgment on appeal. Julie left the public sector and joined Salim-Beasley, focusing primarily on motions practice, brief-writing, and appellate work. She resides in Mandeville, Louisiana and is actively involved in the lives of her three daughters, their schools and activities, and her church.
