About Justin
Justin Enecks is originally from southeast Tennessee, but he considers himself an “honorary” North Carolinian. Justin graduated from Duke University in 2004 and from Elon Law in 2010. He was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar that same year and began practicing law immediately thereafter. After a few years of general practice, Justin found that he gravitated most to criminal defense. In 2013, he and his wife, Erin, moved to Carteret County, and since then, he has focused his practice almost entirely on criminal and traffic law. In addition to practicing law, Justin is an avid dog-lover. Along with their three rescue dogs, Justin and Erin have fostered more than 20 dogs through Misplaced Mutts, a local nonprofit aimed at finding homes for rescue dogs. Justin is also active with Habitat for Humanity and recently joined the Board of Directors of the local Habitat chapter.
