About Kaela

Kaela Holmen was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oregon and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She attended the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she was involved in the Natural Resources Journal, Women’s Law Caucus, and student Trial Lawyers’ association. She also instructed constitutional law classes for high school students. After graduating in 2018, she developed a passion for representing plaintiffs in personal injury, employment, civil rights, and medical malpractice cases. She serves as a Judge Advocate in the New Mexico Army National Guard and volunteers for the Veterans Legal Clinic.
