Karissa Marie Smith has over 25 years of experience, beginning with clerking for a Federal District Court Judge and at the University of Illinois Legal Counsel. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (B.A., History, 1992) and the University of Illinois College of Law (J.D., 1995). She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November 1995, and to the U.S. District Courts for the Central District of Illinois (1998) and Northern Illinois (2004). Her experience includes civil defense, product liability, personal injury, employment law, and general litigation.
