About Kate

Kate Daly Cobb is an associate in Oliver Maner’s litigation department. Kate concentrates on disputes involving misappropriation of assets and other misconduct by fiduciaries, including business partners, executors, administrators, trustees, and professionals. In addition, she handles a variety of business and commercial disputes involving contracts and business torts. Other practice areas include professional malpractice defense, personal injury defense, and creditor representation. A native of Savannah, Kate graduated from Savannah Country Day School in 2016 before earning her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Creative Writing from the College of Charleston. In college, she volunteered as a domestic violence victim advocate intern for the Victim’s Witness Assistance Program of the Savannah District Attorney’s Office. Kate earned her J.D. from Mercer University School of Law in 2023. While in law school, Kate was involved in the Association for Women Law Students, the Mercer Trial Lawyers Association, and Phi Delta Phi. In 2020, she was the recipient of Judge Phyllis Kravitch Memorial Scholarship, given to her by the Savannah Bar Association. Kate was also an active member of the mock trial and arbitration teams, participating in several mock trial competitions throughout the country. She placed 1st in the Mercer University School of Law 2021 Intraschool Arbitration Competition. Kate competed on the inaugural Arbitration Team, advancing from the regional competition to compete in the National ABA Arbitration Competition. For her participation in advocacy programs, she was inducted into the Order of the Barristers upon graduation. Kate is currently a member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers and the Young Lawyers Division of the Savannah Bar Association. Outside of the firm, Kate has a passion for low-country wildlife and habitat preservation.
