About Katherine
Attorney Dickey Graduated from The George Washington University in 2009 with a B.A. in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies. She received a Graduate Certificate in 2009 from The Documentary Center at George Washington’s School of Media and Public Affairs. Attorney Dickey earned her Juris Doctor from University of Connecticut School of Law in 2014, concentrating on human rights. There she was the President of the Women Law Student’s Association and Assistant Managing Editor of the Public Interest Law Journal. She was a 2013 recipient of the Public Interest Law Fellowship. She went on to work as a public defender at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, litigating numerous misdemeanor and felony trials before both judges and juries. Attorney Dickey supervised the Villanova Law School Criminal Defense Clinical Program from 2019-2022. Attorney Dickey not only has experience in criminal defense, but insurance defense and plaintiff’s litigation. She brings her wealth of experience and commitment to working for people and against systems of oppression. Most recently, Attorney Dickey was named one of Connecticut’s Top 100 Lawyers by The National Trial Lawyers, a prestigious organization that hand-selects attorneys known for their exceptional talent and dedication.
