About Keeton
Keeton Cross was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science, double-majoring in Marketing and English. Keeton earned her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law in 2025. While in law school, she gained advocacy experience on the National Arbitration Team and the Cumberland Council of Athlete Resiliency. She also served as Vice President of Cumberland’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and as a 3L Honor Court Justice. Additionally, Keeton received the CALI Excellence Award in Amateur Sports Law and Professional Sports Law. Outside of school, she worked as an intern at the University of Alabama Athletic Compliance Office and published several articles on Conduct Detrimental: The Sports Law Intersection. She was also elected to the 2025-26 Sports Law Association’s College Sports Subcommittee, where she helps produce educational content regarding the 2025 House v. NCAA decision. Keeton began working at Webster Henry in the summer of 2024 as a law clerk and joined the firm as an associate attorney in September 2025.
