About Keith

Keith R. Nelson is a Partner at East Valley Injury Law. He practices in the fields of criminal defense and personal injury and has worked extensively in most of Maricopa and Pinal Counties’ courts. Not only has he negotiated hundreds of favorable settlements and pleas for his clients, but he has also taken dozens of cases trial and has an impressive trial success rate. As a criminal defense attorney, Keith has a unique perspective since he has previously worked as both a judge and a prosecutor. As a personal injury attorney, he has had extensive interactions with insurance adjusters and insurance defense attorneys. Keith has been married to the same woman for more than two decades, has two daughters, and is a faux native of Arizona, having moved to Arizona when he was 6 weeks old. When he is not in the courtroom, he is a scoutmaster, outdoorsman, and a lover of the sand dunes and any quad or UTV that might be found at the dunes. He has backpacked hundreds of miles and has successfully shared this love with his girls. Keith earned his J.D. in 2006 from Gonzaga University where he graduated magna cum laude and his B.S. in 2000 from Arizona State University. He is admitted to practice in Arizona’s State and Federal Courts.
