About Ken

Ken DeMoura is a founding partner and accomplished trial attorney and counselor. He has appeared before all state and federal courts in Massachusetts since 1986, handling commercial disputes, product liability, employment, intellectual property, personal injury, partnership, banking, construction, professional liability, criminal, and bankruptcy cases. He has successfully tried dozens of cases to verdict, handled over 50 arbitration matters, and obtained multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements. Ken is also a certified mediator and commercial arbitrator, a frequent lecturer, and often serves as trial counsel for other litigators. He was named a Go-To Business Litigation attorney by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2024, is a Past-President of the Litigation Counsel of America, and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America since 2012 for Business Litigation, Products Liability, and Mass Tort/Class Action matters. He is a Massachusetts Super Lawyer since 2005 and holds an AV® Preeminent™ Peer-Review rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He was selected as 'Lawyer of the Year' by Best Lawyers in America in 2014 for mass tort litigation and class action defense in Boston. Ken is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He started his legal career at Bingham Dana & Gould and served as a Special Prosecutor for the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office. He was an adjunct professor at New England School of Law and an advisor to the Trial Advocacy Workshop at Harvard Law School.
